This weekend I had a wedding seemed destined for disaster due to the heavy thunder showers all day long. But it's opportunities like these that define our photography by giving us a chance to do things we might not attempt under normal circumstances. I found myself having more time to shoot getting ready pictures and just getting a lot of fun shots around the house rather than just immediately rushing out to some outdoor location. We were also able to sporadically step outside in between thunderstorms and mild drizzle to creatively get some wonderful outdoor shots with umbrellas. I had a great time and best of all so did my bridal party. This was one memorable wedding that I and the bridal party will never forget. Samantha and Yasushi are quite a unique couple. They met online at the university of honolulu and after 8 months of online chatting finally met in person and the rest was history. The great thing is that there love really transcends certain boundaries as Yasushi speaks almost no english and samantha has learned to speak fluent japanese. After their wedding samantha will move to Japan to live with Yasushi. Now that's love for you and congratulations to both.
